I admit I started buying lots of things after having a kid. One of the recent purchase was the Fuji Instax Mini 7s which seems to be a lot of fun when you have a small kid at home to take lots of instant photos.
It started with my sis and unknowing to me, she has 3 sets. Yes, not one, not two but THREE. For goodness sake, why would a person want to own 3 sets of instax mini????? Maybe one for her daughter, one for her son and one for herself! :)
So when my maid wants to go home after working for me for 2 years I realised I could do something like giving her a photo of her and my daughter to bring home for souvenir. That prompted me to source for one and I saw Qoo10 selling it and such an affordable price, I know I just need to order one! haha
Item came just few days after I paid, which is very nice. Seller does give self collection an option but the place is not convenient for me so I rather pay for courier service to be delivered to my house. Immediately when I received the parcel, I literally torn open the package like a small kid opening a present on Boxing Day!

I opted for Blue instead of Pink as there are simply too many pink stuff at home, haha... At first I was a bit worried about wasting the films if I do not put the catridge properly as the long list of instructions really put me off. Luckily it is quite idiot-proof as you just open the packaging and place the catridge that is the right side with the line to indicate the correct side in the camera.
Once the catridge is placed correctly, it automatically shows up as "10" and countdown to the balance of films you left. Easy-peasy!
I started testing it out with my daughter and it turns out quite alright. Just remember to take a close-up as the person in the photo is what you want to capture instead of scenery. :) Have fun!
