I love dresses but could not bring myself to wear a dress that is higher than my knee, because I am not born with long slim legs. Worse, I have chunky calves and thunder thighs so I am always in jeans or pants. Even with dresses, it has to be long enough to cover my legs.
So I always pair dresses with leggings and I found the recent compression leggings or slimming leggings interesting as it promises to have immediate slimming effect.
I ordered and tried and below is the photo:

I ordered 2 types: one is the full length stocking that covers the feet, the other is up to ankle. The advertisement states it has immediate reduction of a few cm after wearing it. I measured before and after and no difference.
However, I think because the stocking is thick and dark, it somehow gives the impression of slimmer legs. This compression stocking can be used as the same way as leggings as it is really thick.
It can be seen that the one on the left which is the full length that covers the feet has better slimming effect since it covers the whole leg. The one on the right covers up to ankle so somehow it looks like the leg is up to ankle and not as slim as the left one.
One thing to note, the one that is up to the ankle stocking is harder to wear vs the full length. I do not know why but it could be the full length is smoother and feels like a real stocking. The other one feels like those compression socks which is much thicker.
I have not worn the full length out but the other one I worn to sleep and could not get past the whole night as the top part keeps rolling down my tummy area.
Will update the full length once I get the chance to wear out.
