I decided to buy this metal rack from qoo10 to try out since it does not require me to drill holes on the wall. I actually do not have a lot of heavy stuff in the store room but a rack that could help organise things and save up on floor space is always welcoming.
The metal rack does not come cheap but I read somewhere that a similar item selling in one of the hardware shop could easily cost $150. So when I got this at $82.90 I feel very happy. :)
Initially it took me a while to figure out how to fix the items as they came in small parts like Ikea products. Best thing is the instruction sheet is not that detailed. After a while when I figured it out the way to do it, it became a breeze. The whole rack is pretty sturdy once you stacked it correctly. I did not put the wheels at the bottom because I do not want to move it. So far it has been in the storeroom for a week and still counting. :)
I would prefer the height to be taller so wonder if I can order more to add on top?? This is a 5-tier rack that stands at 150cm by 90cm. My store room can go up to 200cm so there is still some space on top of the rack.
Actually if not for the dented part on one of the tray, I would have given this 8/10. I do not know why the tray is dented as when I opened the box, there was no sign of external damage. Really hope that seller will QC the items before sending it out to buyers. As the item is not cheap like $8.90, I would expect certain level of standard for it.
May consider buying another set if my mum start nagging to say not enough space around the kitchen. :)
